＜今回は、こちらに通っている小学生の子が大阪市教育委員会が開催している『イングリッシュ・デイ』に参加したということなので、それについて英語／日本語で日記を書いてみました。英語学習者の参考になれば幸いです。＞

How are you? I’m really good. I hope you haven’t caught a cold.
On December 3rd, there was an event called “English Day 2016” at Joutou Sports Center! In the first place, the event “English Day” is an event where the children who live in Osaka city can interact with many native speakers of English and use English. In the event, they can learn some cultures in many countries through some games and interactive activities and enjoy communicating with foreigners in English. It has been held regularly by the board of Education of Osaka city since 2013.
And how great! A girl, who is one of the students coming to my English school, attended the event!（≧▽≦） It seems that there were only two students coming from the same elementary school as her. And one of the two is her! What a great girl! She is very active! She has liked English since she started studying English at my English school and now she can read, write, speak and listen to basic English!（Ｔ＿Ｔ）I’m so impressed by her! I’m so proud of her!（＾▽＾） She said that she had been asked some questions by some foreigners during the event and answered them and she had asked some questions to some foreigners! This is the very English conversation!! I’m so happy when my students want to attend such an event or enjoy studying English!（＾▽＾） Good try!

１２月３日（土）に城東スポーツセンターで英語を使う体験イベント『イングリッシュ・デイ２０１６』が行われました！ そもそも『イングリッシュ・デイ』とは、大阪市内の小中学生が英語ネイティブ・スピーカーと交流し、英語を集中的に使う体験イベントのこと。ゲームや対話型活動を通して世界の国々の文化について学び、積極的に英語でコミュニケーションをして楽しむイベントです。大阪市教育委員会が平成２５年度から定期的に実施しています。
そして、なんとっ！ そのイベントに、こちらに通っている小学５年生の女の子の一人が参加してきました！（≧▽≦） 同じ小学校からは２人しか参加しなかったみたいです。その２人のうちのひとりがその子です！凄いですよね！ とても積極的な子です。その子は弊社で英語を勉強して以来、英語が好きになり、基本的な「読・書・話・聞」がすでにできるようになりました！（Ｔ＿Ｔ）感動！ 自慢の生徒さんです！（＾▽＾） そのイベント中も、外国人にいろいろ質問されて答えたり、こちらから質問したりしたそうです！これぞ英会話！！ 何よりも、自分の教え子がそのようなイベントに参加したいと思ってくれることや英語を楽しんで勉強していることが嬉しいですね！（＾▽＾） よく頑張りました！
